Dumplings with steamed strawberries in a slow cooker are one of the favorite dishes in our family. This recipe will be especially relevant in the strawberry season. Homemade fragrant berries are perfect for filling and give an unforgettable pleasure.

Remove the curdled milk from the refrigerator and let it heat up. Pour into a deep bowl, break a chicken egg, add granulated sugar, baking soda and salt. Mix thoroughly. Gradually sift the wheat flour through a sieve, stir, put the dough on a clean surface, mix well, cover with cling film and leave to rest for half an hour.

Sort the strawberries thoroughly, put in a sieve and rinse gently.

Leave the strawberries on for a while to get rid of excess moisture. Cut into 2-4 pieces, depending on the size of the berries.

Combine granulated sugar with potato or corn starch, mix the dry mixture thoroughly.

Roll out the rested dough on a clean surface with a rolling pin into a layer 3-5 millimeters thick. Cut out the circles with a glass. Place the berry filling in the center and sprinkle with a mixture of starch and sugar. Connect the free edges of the dough and mold them well, pressing firmly with your fingers.

Pour about a liter of hot drinking water into the multicooker bowl. Place a steaming net on top, greased with a little butter or vegetable oil. Arrange the strawberry dumplings carefully. Close the lid of the multicooker. On the device panel, select the "Steam" mode, cooking time 7 minutes.

After the beep, open the lid of the multicooker. Using a spatula, carefully remove the dumplings with strawberries and transfer to a deep container, add butter to taste and stir gently so as not to damage the dumplings.

Serve ready-made dumplings with strawberries in portions, for example, with sour cream.

The cornstarch or potato starch in the filling will keep it from spreading and help keep it in shape. To make the dumplings of a beautiful uniform shape, you can use a special device for sculpting dumplings. If desired, yogurt in the dough can be replaced with kefir or sour milk.
