Strawberry dumplings with whey

Well, what a yummy it is - strawberry dumplings with whey! The recipe is outrageously simple, and as a result, a breathtakingly aromatic and very tasty dish, it is already impossible to stop. The hand reaches for the additive over and over again. Your family will love these dumplings and will ask you to cook them again.

Pour the whey into a deep container, add granulated sugar, salt, break the chicken eggs and mix thoroughly. In several stages, sift wheat flour through a sieve, stir with a tablespoon, then put the dough on a clean, dry work surface, mix well, cover with cling film and leave to rest for half an hour.

In the meantime, sort the strawberries thoroughly, put in a sieve, rinse gently and let the excess liquid drain. Cut into 2-4 pieces, depending on the size of the berries. Roll the rested dough into a sausage and cut into pieces.

Roll a ball from each piece and on a clean, dry dusty flour, roll out a table with a rolling pin into a cake. So roll out all the dough.

Place the berry filling in the center of each tortilla, add granulated sugar to taste.

Connect the free edges of the dough and mold them well, pressing firmly with a fork. Or use a special device for sculpting dumplings. While sculpting the dumplings, put a saucepan of water over medium heat, bring to a boil.

Place the dumplings carefully in boiling water. Wait for the dumplings to float and cook for about 3 minutes.

Using a slotted spoon, carefully remove the hot dumplings from the saucepan and place on a plate. Serve ready-made dumplings with strawberries in portions with sour cream or butter, if desired.
