Dumplings with strawberries on the water

For housewives who have never prepared this desired dessert for adults and children, the simplest recipe for kneading dough for dumplings with strawberries in water is offered. Take a bright red strawberry for this dish, undamaged and dry.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
Pour the amount of wheat flour sifted onto a sieve specified in the recipe into the bowl for kneading the dough. Pour in a glass of water, add a pinch of salt and stir the dough with a spoon.
step 2 out of 6
Then knead the dough well with your hands so that it turns out to be a tight elastic consistency and does not stick to your hands. Roll the kneaded dough into a bun and leave for 20 minutes for proofing.
step 3 out of 6
Transfer the prepared dough to the work surface of the table, sprinkled with flour, and roll it out with a rolling pin into a flat cake no more than 1.5 mm thick. Use a glass or cup to cut neat circles out of the dough. Place a pot of water on the stove to cook the dumplings.
step 4 out of 6
Rinse the strawberries with cold water and remove the stalks. Cut large berries into 2–4 pieces, and leave small ones intact. Pour 2/3 teaspoon sugar and strawberries into each dough circle. Pinch the edges of the dumplings beautifully and carefully so that the juice does not leak out during cooking. Arrange the finished dumplings on a cutting board and sprinkle them with flour.
step 5 out of 6
Salt the boiled water a little and throw the dumplings into it. Be sure to mix them, otherwise they will stick together. Cook the dumplings for 5 minutes after they come to the surface.
step 6 out of 6
Transfer the cooked dumplings with a slotted spoon to portioned plates and serve with sour cream.
