Cherry Jelly with Agar Agar

I suggest making a delicious and aromatic cherry jelly with agar-agar. The jelly can be prepared in a generic large mold or use small portion molds. Sour cream jelly goes well with cherry, and looks festive.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
Prepare your cherries. Put the cherries in a sieve, rinse thoroughly and let the excess liquid drain. Use a pin or special tool to remove the bones. Put the berries in a saucepan, add 200 milliliters of drinking water. Place a saucepan with cherries over medium heat. Bring to a boil and remove from heat.
step 2 out of 6
Strain the cherry juice through a sieve. Add a teaspoon of agar agar and 100 grams of granulated sugar, mix thoroughly, pour into a saucepan and bring to a boil. At the bottom of the mold in which you will prepare the jelly, put a third of the cherries and pour in 1/3 of the cherry syrup. Place the container in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes to set.
step 3 out of 6
Prepare the ingredients for the sour cream layer.
step 4 out of 6
Dissolve a teaspoon of agar agar in a glass of drinking water, add the remaining granulated sugar. Pour the resulting mixture into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat, add sour cream, mix thoroughly. Remove the cherry jelly pan and spread half of the sour cream. Put in the refrigerator to harden for 20 minutes.
step 5 out of 6
Then add the remaining third of the cherries. Pour in a third of the cherry syrup, put in the refrigerator to set. Then spread the sour cream layer and remove again to harden. Add the cherries again and cover with the remaining cherry syrup and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
step 6 out of 6
Remove the frozen jelly from the refrigerator. Place the mold in hot water for 10-15 seconds, and then carefully remove the jelly from the mold and place on a plate or serving dish. Serve dessert.

Enjoy!
