Cherry juice with pulp for the winter at home

Cherry drink is best prepared from ripe and juicy cherries with dense pulp and subjected to at least minimal heat treatment to keep it until winter. You can make a natural soda from the workpiece if you add mineral water to it.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
We sort out fresh cherries: we select only the most juicy and ripe berries, while discarding rotten and spoiled ones. We wash the cherries and put them in a colander to get rid of excess moisture.
step 2 out of 5
When the berries are dry, remove the seeds from them. Separate the stalks from the cherries and remove the leaves. Put the cherry pulp in a bowl or large saucepan. We do not use aluminum dishes for this purpose: the berries contain acid, which, in contact with aluminum, forms harmful substances.
step 3 out of 5
Pour water into the pulp. Bring the mass to a boil over low heat and cook for another 5 minutes. Then the pulp will need to be put in a sieve and grind (the sieve should be fine).
step 4 out of 5
Pour the required amount of sugar into the cherry juice. While stirring the drink, wait until the sugar is completely dissolved. As soon as the juice boils, we mark for 10 minutes and brew the drink during this time.
step 5 out of 5
Sealing jars and lids should be prepared in advance: clean and rinse, and then sterilize. Pour the juice into containers and roll up the lids. To gradually cool the cans with the drink, turn them over and wrap them with a blanket. Then we send them to a dry, cool place.
Bon Appetit!
