Cherries in seedless syrup for the winter

Cooking cherries according to this recipe will not take you much time. The main difference between the preparation and the jam is that the berries are not subjected to long heat treatment and retain more useful properties.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
To prepare cherries in syrup, the berries must first be sorted out: discard the rotten and spoiled ones, rinse with cool water. Put the cherries in a colander right away. When the excess liquid drains and the berries dry out, you need to remove the seeds from the cherries. This is a very laborious and time-consuming process.
step 2 out of 5
Pour the required amount of water into a saucepan. Pour the sugar into the liquid and bring the mixture to a boil. The syrup is almost ready when the sugar is completely dissolved. Pour in a pinch of vanillin.
step 3 out of 5
We simmer the mass for another 5-7 minutes. To find out for sure if the syrup is ready, add a little mass to a plate. The drop has not spread, so the syrup is ready.
step 4 out of 5
Add cherries to the hot viscous mixture. We mix. Cook the cherry mass for about two minutes. We turn off the gas. For syrup, you need to prepare jars and lids in advance: clean, wash and send for sterilization.
step 5 out of 5
Now pour the hot mixture into jars and roll up. The delicacy can be served with tea, added as a filling to pancakes and pastries.
Bon Appetit!
