Cherries in their own juice without sugar with pits for the winter

Cherries with seeds are harvested not as often as without them. It is known that cherry pits contain a harmful substance - hydrocyanic acid. It is harmful to the human body, which is why it is best not to store the rolls for a long time.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
We prepare the container for seaming: first it must be cleaned with soda and rinsed, and then put into the oven for sterilization. Cherries also need to be washed and removed from the stalks. We fill the jar with berries to the very top.
step 2 out of 5
Line the bottom of a large pot with a towel in two rows. We put jars on a towel and pour water into a saucepan. The liquid should reach the "shoulders" of the can. We cover the container with lids so that the boiling water does not get into the containers. When the liquid boils, we sterilize the cans for 15 minutes.
step 3 out of 5
The berries will settle, so the jars will need to be constantly refilled with cherries.
step 4 out of 5
When the blanks are processed, we take the cans out of the water. We roll them up with lids. We turn the containers over to check the tightness.
step 5 out of 5
We leave them upside down at room temperature. We wrap it up and wait for it to cool for a couple of days.

Bon Appetit!
