The pizza dough does not have to be yeast dough. There are many other options that give excellent results. In this recipe, we prepare a dough based on sour cream and olive oil. The combination of this fermented milk product with vegetable oil gives a rather porous and crumbly texture, while not depriving it of its softness. For pizza, this is what you need.
Ingredients
Cooking process
Break the egg into a bowl, add salt. Shake with a whisk until smooth. Pour in sour cream. As for the fat content of the product used, you should know that the fatter the sour cream, the more tender and crumbly the pizza base will turn out. Then add olive oil. With a whisk, mix all the liquid components into a total mass.
Pour the sifted flour in portions. We knead the dough first with a spoon, stirring in the flour until the dough is thick, and then switching to manual kneading. The finished mass should remain soft, pliable, in no case tight. You may need more or less flour, the check is indicated in the recipe - it depends on the type of specific flour. We roll the dough into a ball - its surface does not stick to hands.
Bon Appetit!
