Sun-dried tomatoes are quite painstaking in preparation, but the result is definitely worth it. The appetizer goes well with wine, it can be served with cheese and bread. The dish is ideal for serving at buffets and special occasions.

First you need to prepare aromatic oil. Let's prepare the spices. Grind the garlic, hot peppers, rosemary and basil.

Heat the olive oil slightly.

Add all the crushed ingredients, peppercorns to the warm oil. Mix and pour into a plastic bottle. Close with a lid and leave in a dark place for 3-4 days until fully cooked.

When the fragrant oil is ready, you can start working with tomatoes. We make four cuts on each vegetable and release them into boiling water for one minute.

Put the scalded tomatoes in cold water immediately. You can add ice.

Carefully remove the peel from each vegetable with your hands. This can be easily done using the cuts that we made at the beginning of cooking.

Cut the peeled tomatoes into two or four pieces. Depends on the size of the fruit. Throw away the crumb. Put the necessary slices on a baking sheet, lightly coated with vegetable oil. We put in the oven for three hours. We cook at a temperature of 100 degrees. The oven door should be slightly open. Sprinkle the tomatoes with sea salt 20-30 minutes before cooking.
