Sun-dried tomatoes are a real delicacy among homemade products. This in itself is a very tasty appetizer, in addition, sun-dried tomatoes can be used in the preparation of pasta, vegetable stews, meat dishes, baked goods, soups and more.

Sprinkle the tomatoes with salt, basil and rosemary. Put a baking sheet with tomatoes in the oven, preheated to 100-130 degrees, after 30 minutes, reduce the temperature to 60-80 degrees.

Dry the tomatoes for 6-7 hours with a slightly open oven, periodically check the degree of doneness.

Peel the garlic, cut the cloves into several pieces. Put the sun-dried tomatoes in sterilized jars, shifting them with garlic and basil leaves, fill the jars with warmed oil, tighten the lids tightly. Tomatoes preserved in this way can be stored in the refrigerator for 6 months, and the oil is perfect for dressing salads.
