Sun-dried tomatoes are a popular Italian snack that is gradually gaining popularity in our country. Many people prefer the finished product, which can be easily found on the shelves of our stores. We propose to cook such a savory snack at home. To do this, you will need quality tomatoes, special seasonings and herbs, and an oven with convection function.

The tomatoes must be washed thoroughly and then dried.

After that, we cut the tomatoes into four parts, after removing the stalks from them. Also, do not forget to remove the core.

The next step is to put the chopped tomatoes on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper and greased with a little vegetable oil. We recommend placing tomato slices at a minimum distance from each other, since during the drying process, their size will decrease significantly.
