The jam should be thick and it is not at all necessary to cook it for the winter. You can make such a delicacy just for tea with a fresh loaf.

Wash the apples, cut the core, remove the seeds and cut the skin.

Chop the fruit into small pieces.

Use a handy tool (food processor, meat grinder or grater) to transform the apples into puree and place in a saucepan.

Add sugar and juice from half a lemon. Stir well and put to heat over low heat. After boiling, cook for 1 hour, stirring constantly. Leave the cooked jam to cool under the lid for 2 hours. Cook again for 1 hour.

Transfer the hot jam to a clean, sterile jar and close the lid. Move the jam to the refrigerator or serve immediately with tea.
