Apple jam in a slow cooker

Using a multicooker, you can make apple jam, which is similar in consistency to marmalade. You will have it as a dessert for tea, and a filling for pies and pies. We cook on 2 programs - "Stew" and "Baking".

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 4
Rinse apples for jam well and peel. Then, after removing the cores with seeds, chop into small slices and transfer to the multicooker bowl. Transfer the apple peel to a separate saucepan, add a glass of clean water and boil it for 20 minutes on the stove and over low heat.
step 2 out of 4
Pour the required amount of sugar to the chopped apples, pour the apple broth from the peel and stir.
step 3 out of 4
Close the lid of the multicooker and set the "Stew" program for 1 hour. During this time, mix the apples several times by opening the lid so that they are well boiled and there are no small pieces.
step 4 out of 4
After this time has elapsed, switch the multicooker to the "Baking" program, setting the time to 40 minutes. During this time, also stir the jam 2-3 times with a silicone spatula. Transfer the cooked jam hot to sterile jars and seal them tightly. Apple jam cooked in a multicooker will acquire an even thicker consistency after cooling.

Enjoy your tea!
