Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 9
We prepare the main ingredient: we wash and dry the apples with paper towels. For natural sweetness, it is better to use varieties such as "white filling" and "prince".
step 2 out of 9
Remove the peel from clean fruits, cut into two parts, remove the core together with the seeds and cut arbitrarily. If, as a result, you want to get a light puree - a couple of drops of lemon juice will "protect" the fruit from darkening.
step 3 out of 9
Put the sliced apples in an enamel bowl, add water and put on low heat. We continue cooking until soft, it will take about 25-30 minutes.
step 4 out of 9
It's time to start sterilizing the cans: put them neck down in a preheated oven or put them on a stand over boiling water. Use the method that is most convenient for you.
step 5 out of 9
When the fruits have become soft, directly on the fire we break through the mass with a blender without leaving lumps and boil for a few more minutes, stirring constantly.
step 6 out of 9
Fill sterilized jars with hot mashed potatoes to the neck, cover with a lid, but do not roll up yet.
step 7 out of 9
We put the filled cans in a saucepan of a suitable size, on the bottom of which we put a towel so that the cans do not knock. Fill with water up to the "shoulders" of the cans and set to boil over the fire, for about 15-20 minutes.
step 8 out of 9
After the time has elapsed, carefully take out the cans without removing the lids and roll them up. Next, turn it upside down and cover with a thick towel.
step 9 out of 9
After complete cooling, we put it in a dark place for storage. Bon Appetit!
