Antonovka apple puree with condensed milk for the winter

Condensed milk makes the puree more tender and creamy, so this puree can be used as a dessert with tea or used as a filling for pies.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Rinse the apples under running water and pat dry with a towel. Check that there are no spoiled spots on the fruits, and if necessary, carefully cut them out with a knife.
step 2 out of 5
Peel the apples, cut the hard core with seeds, and cut the pulp into wedges. Put the wedges in a saucepan, add sugar to them, cover with water and put on medium heat. Bring the liquid to a boil and cook for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples are tender.
step 3 out of 5
When the apples are cooked, remove them from the stove and grind with a blender until smooth. Stir it a couple of times with a spoon to make sure no large pieces are jammed in the corners.
step 4 out of 5
Add the condensed milk to the puree and stir until smooth. At this point, taste the dish and adjust the amount of sugar as needed.
step 5 out of 5
Divide the puree into pre-sterilized jars and close the lid tightly. Arrange the seams upside down or fold on their side, wrap with a towel and leave to cool completely.
Bon Appetit!
