Applesauce with orange for the winter

Apples for mashed potatoes are usually stewed with a little water. Let's replace it with freshly squeezed orange juice - the preparation will only benefit from this, both in taste and in aroma.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Cut the apples, peeled from the peel and seeds, into small pieces.
step 2 out of 5
Squeeze juice from oranges - all you need is 100 gr. We do not recommend taking industrial juice, as the taste of the finished puree will turn out to be less pronounced. Pour the juice into a saucepan with a thick bottom.
step 3 out of 5
We lay the apples, put them on the stove. Heat to a boil and simmer, with stirring, twenty to twenty-five minutes until soft.
step 4 out of 5
Punch the stewed apples with an immersion blender until puree. Bring the puree to a boil again, add sugar, mix and simmer for another two to three minutes.
step 5 out of 5
We lay out the hot mashed potatoes in clean and dry, pre-sterilized jars. We screw the puree with clean, dry sterile lids using a special wrench. Let the workpiece cool down and put it in a cool dry place for storage.
Bon Appetit!
