Applesauce with pumpkin for the winter

Do you want to prepare healthy fruit and vegetable puree for the winter? Pay attention to the apple-pumpkin combination. It turns out to be delicately sweet, not cloying, with a smooth texture and rather thick. A great natural snack for kids.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
We wash the apples, dry them, cut off the peel and cut out the seed box. Cut the apple pulp into small pieces. We do the same with pumpkin. We place the raw materials in the pan.
step 2 out of 5
We pour in water, put it on the stove. Heat to a boil, then lower the temperature of the stove and simmer apples and pumpkin under the lid until soft. Stir occasionally for even stewing. The process will take approximately twenty to twenty-five minutes.
step 3 out of 5
Punch the softened apples with pumpkin with an immersion blender until smooth. Pour sugar in mashed potatoes, pour in lemon juice, return to the stove and bring to a boil.
step 4 out of 5
Cook the puree at a low boil for ten minutes. Stir so as not to burn. In parallel, you can put clean cans and lids for sterilization.
step 5 out of 5
We spread the finished hot mashed potatoes in clean, dry, sterilized jars. Screw on the puree with clean, dry, sterile lids. Let the workpiece cool down, after which we put it in a cool dry place for storage.
Bon Appetit!
