Everyone knows that porridge is very healthy, but nowadays it is very rarely cooked. Buckwheat and rice porridge are cooked, but they completely forgot about barley porridge. Barley porridge with good stew can be a quick, tasty and very satisfying lunch for you. And most importantly, all products are natural and without chemical additives.

Pour the barley into a bowl and rinse several times with cold water to remove the husk and small debris.

In a saucepan for cooking porridge, boil the amount of clean water specified in the recipe. To make the porridge thick and crumbly, take the ratio of water to cereals 2.5: 1.

Pour washed cereals into boiled water, salt and cook over low heat for 20 minutes. During this time, the porridge will become thick.

Open a can of quality stew and at least 60% meat. Put the stew together with the sauce into the cooked porridge and mix well.

If you wish, you can add fried onions and carrots to the porridge. Cover the pot with porridge and leave for at least 10 minutes to infuse.
