Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 4
We wash the mackerel under running water, separate the head and gut it. Rinse well again and cut into small pieces 3-4 cm thick.
step 2 out of 4
We clean the carrots, wash and rub on a coarse grater. Peel the onion, rinse and chop into thin half rings.
step 3 out of 4
Put bay leaves in a sterilized jar, then layers of mackerel, a layer of carrots and onions. Thus, we fill the jar to the very top. Then add pepper, salt and vegetable oil to the jar. Close the jar with foil and put it in a cold oven. We set the temperature regime to 170 degrees and sterilize the canned food for 40-50 minutes.
step 4 out of 4
We take the jar with the ready-made canned food out of the oven with a grip and tighten it tightly with a boiled lid. Leave it to cool completely at room temperature, then put it in the refrigerator for storage. To serve, you just need to put the fish and vegetables on a plate and sprinkle with fresh herbs. Bon Appetit!
