A simple recipe for jellied pie with cabbage and eggs. We also suggest adding a little carrots to the filling for contrast and onions for flavoring. Prepare the dough with a mixture of sour cream and mayonnaise with the addition of butter - the crumb of the pie will be moist and crumbly. It is important that the baking dish of the ball is wide enough: the cake should not be high, otherwise the dough will not be fully baked. The approximate height of the product should be four to five centimeters.

Then we put the cabbage in the pan, mix, cover with a lid so that the mass settles as soon as possible. We simmer for another ten to fifteen minutes. The braising time may differ depending on the type of cabbage. It is important that the cabbage also becomes soft and starts to brown slightly. At the end of cooking, salt the vegetables, stir and remove from the stove.
To prepare the dough, beat the eggs with salt and sugar in a bowl until smooth. We measure the required volume of mayonnaise and sour cream, add them to the egg mass, also add melted butter, mix. Pour in the sifted flour and soda, actively knead with a whisk to break all the lumps and get a homogeneous dough of medium density. Grease the baking dish with vegetable oil. If the mold is silicone, then you do not need to lubricate it with anything. Pour half of the prepared dough.
