Jellied kefir pie with cabbage and minced meat in the oven

Cabbage filling for jellied pies is usually pre-stewed or fried, due to which it turns out to be very soft in finished baked goods. In this recipe, we propose to form a pie from raw cabbage and bake everything together. But we will fry the minced meat before adding it to the filling - it's safer this way. As a result, the filling in the pie will have a more pronounced structure, the cabbage pieces will feel denser and juicier. Someone will like this option more.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 10
Cut the cabbage into small pieces or chop finely. Squeeze the chopped mass with your hands to soften the vegetable fibers.
step 2 out of 10
Separately cut the peeled onion into thin quarter rings, finely chop the dill and green onion feathers with a knife. Heat a small amount of vegetable oil on the stove in a frying pan and fry the minced meat in it for five to seven minutes. At the end of frying, add salt and black pepper to the meat, mix and remove from the stove.
step 3 out of 10
To prepare the dough, put kefir and mayonnaise in a bowl. Mix with a whisk.
step 4 out of 10
Then add eggs, soda and salt, mix until smooth.
step 5 out of 10
Pour in the sifted flour last. Mix everything well together until you get a homogeneous batter without lumps.
step 6 out of 10
Grease the cake pan with a thin layer of vegetable oil. Then pour half of the dough into it, align along the bottom.
step 7 out of 10
Pour chopped cabbage evenly onto the dough. Sprinkle it lightly with salt.
step 8 out of 10
Distribute the fried minced meat on the cabbage. Next, sprinkle the filling with chopped onions, chopped dill and green onions.
step 9 out of 10
Close the stuffing with the remaining dough. Spread the dough over the surface with the back of the spoon. We put the pie in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Baking time is approximately forty - forty-five minutes. The cake grows slightly in size and blushes well.
step 10 out of 10
We take out the finished baked goods from the oven, cool a little and cut into portions. Serve warm.

Bon Appetit!
