Knead the dough for cabbage pie with mayonnaise. Its consistency turns out to be quite liquid, which is why the pie is called aspic. At the same time, the crumb of the finished cake turns out to be airy and tender. Pre-stew cabbage for the filling with onions and carrots - the taste of baked goods from such a combination becomes more multifaceted and rich. For flavor, we also put greens.

We begin to prepare the filling. To do this, peel the carrots and rub them on a coarse grater.

Next, thinly chop the white cabbage. You can also grind it with a special grater.

Peel the onions and cut them into small cubes. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and pour chopped onion into it. Fry with stirring until light blush.

We spread the grated carrots to the onion, mix and continue to fry until the carrots are soft.

Then add the chopped cabbage. We close the pan with a lid so that the mass settles more quickly and it is more convenient to mix it. When the volume of cabbage decreases, open the lid, stir and simmer the vegetable mixture for about fifteen to twenty minutes. The cabbage should be soft. At the end of cooking, salt the vegetables.

At the same time, we set hard-boiled eggs to boil. Then we cool them down and clean them. Cut into small pieces.

Remove the cabbage mass from the stove. We wash the greens, dry them and chop finely. Pour the chopped greens to the cabbage filling and mix. Let the mixture cool.

To prepare the dough, break the eggs into a bowl and put mayonnaise.

Add salt and baking powder. Next, pour out the sifted flour.

Use a whisk to knead a smooth, homogeneous dough. In consistency, it will resemble pancake dough.

Grease the cake pan with vegetable oil and sprinkle it lightly with flour - this will make it easier to remove the finished cake. Pour half of the dough into the prepared mold.

Spread half of the cabbage filling on the dough in an even layer. On it - pour chopped boiled eggs. Cover the eggs with the remaining cabbage.

Pour the second half of the dough over the cabbage filling, trying to cover it completely.

If necessary, spread the dough with the back of a spoon so that there are no open areas of cabbage. We put the cake pan in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. We bake for thirty forty to forty five minutes. The dough does not increase in volume, but it is very nicely covered with an appetizing golden brown crust.
