Cooking a simple jellied pie from batter in milk with cabbage and meat filling. Minced meat can be absolutely any, the main thing is that it is not too fatty. We fry it first with onions and cabbage - this combination is very tasty in itself, and even more in harmony with unsweetened dough. The pie is very satisfying and juicy - it can be served for dinner in combination with a vegetable salad.

We start by making the cabbage filling. To do this, thinly chop the cabbage. We do this with a knife or a special grater.

In a saucepan, bring two liters of water to a boil and put chopped cabbage in boiling water. Stir with a spoon to immerse the whole mass in hot water. Blanch the cabbage for two to three minutes, then put it on a sieve or colander and let the water drain as much as possible.

Peel the onions and cut them into small cubes. Heat a small amount of vegetable oil in a frying pan and pour the onion into it. Fry it at an average plate temperature until translucent, remembering to stir so that it does not burn.

Add minced meat to the onion. We immediately begin to break the minced meat pieces with a spatula so that the mass takes on a crumbly appearance. Fry the minced meat with onions for three to four minutes. Then add salt, black pepper and spices for meat, mix.

Put the dried and already slightly cooled cabbage in a pan for the minced meat with onions, mix and continue cooking on the stove for another seven to ten minutes. Wash the dill, dry it, chop it and also put it in a pan, mix it. We taste the filling and add salt if necessary. Remove from the stove and let cool to a warm temperature.

While the filling is cooling down, prepare the dough. Put milk, mayonnaise and soda in a bowl, mix thoroughly. Next, add eggs, salt and granulated sugar. Shake everything together again. Finally, add sifted flour and baking powder. Knead the dough with a whisk until smooth. The consistency of the mass turns out to be quite liquid, like a pancake.

Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil. Then pour half of the prepared dough into it, level it. Put the cabbage filling on the dough with a spoon. We try to distribute it in an even layer over the entire area of ​​the dough.

Put the remaining dough on top. Cover the gaps with the back of the spoon so that the dough covers the entire filling.We send the cake to an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake for about thirty-five to forty minutes, until a beautiful golden crust appears.
