Jellied pie with cabbage and onions in the oven

Delicious cake made from completely simple ingredients. It is especially good and fragrant if the cabbage is young and the green onions are fresh from the garden. For color, add grated carrots to the filling. You can use any spices to your taste. A safe bet is ground black pepper and chopped nutmeg. We will knead the dough on kefir - when baked in such a cake, it practically does not rise, but it gives an excellent golden brown crust.

Finely chop the cabbage with a knife, then grind it with your hands to soften. In a frying pan, heat a small amount of vegetable oil and pour the prepared cabbage into it. With stirring, fry it for seven to ten minutes.

Peel the carrots from the upper skin, wash, dry and rub on a coarse grater. We spread to the cabbage, mix and continue to fry for another ten minutes. At the end of cooking, add salt, black pepper and grated nutmeg.

We wash the green onions, dry them and chop finely with a knife. Pour the greens into the cabbage mass, mix and remove from the stove. Let cool slightly before forming the cake.

Knead the dough: break the eggs into a bowl, pour in kefir, add salt. Shake everything together until smooth.

Then add flour with baking powder and knead a smooth, thin dough.

Grease the baking dish with oil. If the mold is silicone, then lubrication is optional. We spread half of the prepared dough into a mold.

Preheat the oven to a temperature of 180 degrees. We put the pie in it. We bake for thirty-five to forty minutes. The baked goods should acquire a pronounced golden crust.
