To make the dish really tasty, it is important to use the "right" pasta - made from durum wheat flour. They will not boil over and after baking will retain their optimal texture, while products made from ordinary flour quickly lose both their density and shape.

Peel the onions, rinse and chop finely with a knife. We wash the carrots, peel and three on a coarse grater. Heat the odorless vegetable oil in a frying pan and add the chopped vegetables. While stirring, fry the onions with carrots until soft and lightly browned. This will take about five to six minutes.
