Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 10
Cook the pasta until tender in lightly salted water, as indicated in the instructions on the package. It is important not to overcook them so that they do not soften after subsequent baking. We put the finished pasta in a colander, rinse with cold water and let the liquid drain completely.
step 2 out of 10
Peel the onions, rinse and chop with a knife into small cubes. Heat a small amount of odorless vegetable oil in a frying pan and pour chopped onion into it. While stirring, fry the onion until transparent and light golden hue.
step 3 out of 10
Then put the minced meat on the onion and immediately begin to knead it with a fork to get a crumbly mass. Add salt, black pepper and grated nutmeg to taste. Fry the onion-meat mixture for fifteen to twenty minutes at an average stove temperature.
step 4 out of 10
At the end of frying the minced meat, add garlic, chopped into small pieces, and Provencal herbs. Mix and remove from the stove.
step 5 out of 10
Mix eggs and milk in a separate container. Shake everything together with a fork or whisk until smooth, lightly salt.
step 6 out of 10
Lubricate the casserole dish with a thin layer of vegetable oil and put half of the total amount of boiled pasta in it. Put the fried minced meat with onions on top, level with the back of a spoon or a spatula.
step 7 out of 10
Distribute the rest of the boiled pasta onto the minced meat, trying to make an even layer.
step 8 out of 10
Fill the formed casserole with the egg-milk mixture.
step 9 out of 10
Rub hard cheese on a coarse grater. Fill the surface of the casserole with cheese chips.
step 10 out of 10
We put the casserole in an oven preheated to 190 degrees on a medium level. We bake for twenty five to thirty minutes. The cheese on the surface should melt and form a golden crust. We take out the finished casserole from the oven and serve it hot right in the form. As a decoration, the surface can be sprinkled with chopped herbs.

Bon Appetit!
