Choux pastry on kefir for pies

When your family is asked to cook pies, and there is not enough time to knead real yeast dough, you can cook it according to the proposed recipe using the choux method and kefir. The dough is easy to knead, does not require time for proofing and is very convenient to work with. The pies are soft and do not stale for a long time. Any filling is suitable for them, only for sweet ones you need to add a little more sugar.

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
First, accurately measure the amount of ingredients for kneading the dough, so that later you will not be disappointed with the result. Prepare food for the selected filling immediately.
step 2 out of 6
Pour kefir into a metal bowl for kneading the dough and place it in a water bath so that the bottom of the bowl does not come into contact with water. Pour the required amount of salt, sugar and soda to kefir. Heat kefir over medium heat and until the water starts to boil in a water bath container. Kefir should not boil.

step 6 out of 6
The kefir choux pastry is ready. Prepare the filling and you can immediately sculpt beautiful pies.
Delicious and successful baking!
