Milk custard with butter for honey cake

Milk custard has a very delicate texture and therefore is ideal for interlayers of multi-layered "Honey". It can be cooked on the basis of store-bought milk, and homemade, and even baked milk, which will give the baked goods flavor notes. The butter makes the cream firm and rich. To prepare the cream, your dishes must be dry and clean. Keep all products at home temperature for some time.

Sift the required amount of flour and vanilla sugar into a bowl through a thick sieve so that there are no lumps. If there is no vanilla sugar, replace it with 2 g of vanilla.

Divide the eggs into yolks and whites. Place the yolks in a separate bowl in which you will cook the cream, add sugar to them and mix them with a whisk or mixer at minimum speed. Sugar can be replaced with powdered sugar, then the cream will be white. Pour milk to the sifted flour and mix well so that there are no lumps of flour. Then pour the mixture of flour and milk over the crushed yolks, increase the speed of the mixer and beat everything well.

Place the dishes with this mixture on low heat. Stir the cream continuously with a whisk and bring the mixture to a boil and thick. When the cream starts to boil, remove it from the stove and cool slightly.

Then put softened butter in the cream and beat with a mixer again until smooth.
