I want to share a recipe for winter harvesting, the name of which speaks for itself - "You will lick your fingers." Pickled greens

Prepare all the ingredients you need. Wash the carrots thoroughly and peel them with a vegetable peeler. Wash green tomatoes thoroughly under running water and then dry. Choose small tomatoes. Peel the garlic, cut into several pieces. Wash and clean the horseradish root.

Wash the jars thoroughly and sterilize in the oven or in a water bath. Cut the carrots into slices 1.5-2 centimeters thick. Fill sterile jars with tomatoes, carrots and garlic, alternating layers.

Place horseradish root with dry dill umbrellas on top of the filled jars.

Pour the required amount of drinking water into a saucepan, add bay leaves, allspice peas, black peppercorns, cloves, rock salt and granulated sugar. Place over medium heat and bring to a boil. Remove from heat immediately and pour in vinegar. Stir. Pour the prepared marinade over the jars of green tomatoes.

Pour boiling water over the lids or boil in a saucepan, screw the jars with them. Gently turn hot jars of green tomatoes upside down, wrap them in a warm blanket and cool completely in this form for about 12-15 hours.

Store the finished tomatoes in a cool, dark place. An appetizing appetizer of green tomatoes with carrots and garlic can be served with any hot meal.
