Korean green tomatoes appetizer

This green tomato appetizer with Korean flavors is quick to prepare and differs significantly in its aroma and flavor from other traditional dishes. It is not intended for winter storage. If there is no Korean seasoning, then you can replace it with coriander, hot pepper and parsley. Once you try it, you will cook it often.

Peel and chop the carrots on a Korean grater. Place it in a separate bowl, add half the amount of sugar and salt specified in the recipe and rub a little with your hands so that the carrots give juice.

Wash green tomatoes, preferably small ones, and pat dry with a towel. Then chop them into thin circles. Peel a pod of hot pepper from seeds and chop into thin rings. Chop the peeled garlic in a garlic bowl.

Transfer the chopped tomatoes to the grated carrots and stir. Pour the rest of the sugar and salt on top of these vegetables, add ground coriander and chopped garlic.

Then prepare the appetizer dressing. Peel the onion and cut into thin half rings. Fry the chopped onion in hot vegetable oil. Pour the oil into the skillet in the amount indicated in the recipe. Add coriander seeds and hot pepper rings to the fried onions and fry everything until the pepper is golden brown.
