Green tomatoes with garlic and pepper

This recipe for a spicy green tomato salad is so simple that your hands themselves ask to cook at least a jar of snacks. This recipe was invented by resourceful Soviet hostesses who do not know where to use green tomatoes so unloved by many. Be sure to try evaluating this appetizer, especially if you have green tomatoes and don't know what to do with them.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
Prepare all the ingredients for the salad in advance. Rinse the tomatoes and cut into quarters. Cut the greens with garlic to taste, and then chop the pepper: cut the hot pepper into rings, the Bulgarian into slices.
step 2 out of 7
Further preparation is very simple: tamp all the ingredients that can enter the jar into a clean, sterilized three-liter jar. Pour the brine into the jar, which is best prepared in advance. To do this, dissolve sugar and salt in oil with vinegar. You can warm up the mixture a little in a microwave or in a water bath to speed up the process. Close the jar with a lid and leave in this state for a couple of hours.
step 3 out of 7
After a few hours, the food in the jar will settle down a little, and you can add to them what is left - this is about a pound of tomato and peppers. Tamp the rest of the mixture into a jar and close it with a lid. Put the jar in a dark, cool place for knocking.
step 4 out of 7
After a day, be sure to shake the jar with the workpiece so that everything is thoroughly mixed. The vegetables will give even more juice and the salad will be almost completely covered in the dressing.
step 5 out of 7
After the jar has stood for another day in its corner, shake it again. By this time, the vegetables should have pretty much let out the juice and turn pale, which means that they are almost ready.
step 6 out of 7
On the third day, your snack will be completely ready to eat. You can already start trying it or put it in the refrigerator for storage.
step 7 out of 7
This salad will be moist, in a spicy brine. The appetizer goes well with fatty hot dishes or alcoholic beverages, and also diversifies the festive feast.

Bon Appetit!
