Green tomatoes stuffed for the winter

Tomatoes stuffed with vegetables, herbs and garlic will become a very beautiful and mouth-watering snack on your table. The pickling recipe is not at all complicated, but it will take some time to prepare the ingredients. Choose tomatoes that are dense and strong. You can serve such a preparation with meat dishes or side dishes, for example, potatoes.

Wash the tomatoes and pat dry with a towel. Make cruciform cuts on them with a knife to about the middle.

Peel and wash the carrots, then grate them coarsely on a grater or in a food processor. Wash the pepper as well, remove the stalk and seeds and grind into small cubes.

Chop the washed chili and peeled garlic with a food processor or knife.

Rinse the dill and parsley under running water and dry a little on a towel. Chop it into small pieces.

Stir the garlic, carrots, peppers and herbs until smooth in one bowl. Fill the cuts of the tomatoes with the chopped blank. Boil water with salt and sugar and cook for 2 minutes.

Put the stuffed tomatoes in a saucepan alternately with lavrushka and washed horseradish leaves and cover everything with the prepared brine, covering all the tomatoes.

Place a load on top of the workpiece, for example a plate, and on it a full liter can of water. Leave the tomatoes to ferment for 4 days, and then transfer the finished snack to sterile jars, fill with syrup and roll up.
