Well, what could be tastier than fried porcini mushrooms with potatoes ?! This delicacy has been familiar since childhood. When I came to my grandmother in the village for summer holidays, she often treated me to this wonderful and simple dish. The fragrant dish turns out to be very satisfying, and it is simply impossible to tear yourself away from it.

Wash the potatoes well and peel them with a vegetable peeler. Cut the peeled potatoes into strips or whatever you like. Heat a deep frying pan well over medium heat, add the required amount of vegetable oil, put the potatoes and fry until golden brown, stirring occasionally. Season with salt at the end of cooking.

In the meantime, sort the porcini mushrooms well, peel and wash them thoroughly in cold water.

Cut the washed porcini mushrooms into medium-sized pieces. Place them in a heavy-bottomed saucepan, pour in the required amount of drinking water and add salt. Place over medium heat and bring to a boil. Boil the porcini mushrooms for 7-10 minutes.

Pour the boiled porcini mushrooms through a sieve or colander. Then rinse under cold running water and allow excess liquid to drain.

Put the pan on medium heat and heat well, pour in the required amount of vegetable oil, put the boiled porcini mushrooms and fry until golden brown, stirring occasionally. Peel the onions and rinse under cold running water, then cut into small cubes and send to the pan with the mushrooms.

Fry for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir again.

Rinse the dill thoroughly under cold running water, shake off excess moisture and chop finely with a sharp knife. Add chopped dill to porcini mushrooms and mix thoroughly. Put fried potatoes in a pan with mushrooms and stir. Heat the dish for a couple of minutes and remove from heat.

Peel the garlic, rinse under water and pass through a press or chop with a fine grater. Add chopped garlic to the finished dish and mix well.
