Fried milk mushrooms with potatoes

Milk mushrooms are those mushrooms that any mushroom picker wants to find in the forest. They give the dishes an incredible mushroom flavor and aroma. Even such a simple dish as fried potatoes with milk mushrooms will not leave anyone indifferent. Before cooking, the mushrooms must be soaked in cold water to get rid of the bitterness.

Sort out the mushrooms, wash under the tap, then soak them in cold water for 3 days, change the water periodically. Transfer the mushrooms to a saucepan, cover them with water, add a little salt and cook for 25 minutes. After that, strain and rinse the milk mushrooms with cold water. Cut the mushrooms into strips and transfer them to paper towels to drain the water.

Pour flour on a plate and roll the milk mushrooms in it. Preheat a skillet, pour in some sunflower oil, add the mushrooms and fry them until tender. Then transfer the mushrooms to a bowl and place in a warm place.

Peel and wash onions and potatoes. Cut the potatoes into strips, the onion into cubes. Fry the potatoes in the same skillet, add the onion in the middle of cooking. Season with salt to taste.
