Fried chanterelles with onions

The easiest recipe for making mushrooms is to fry them in a pan with onions. But if you add a little cream or sour cream, garlic and herbs to the mushrooms, you immediately get an amazing dish with a creamy mushroom taste and aroma. It is ideal for self-serving or as a side dish for potatoes or pasta.

Peel and rinse the onions. Shred it into small cubes.

We clean the chanterelles, wash them, pay special attention to the places under the cap between the plates.

Put chopped onion in a preheated pan with vegetable oil and fry until golden brown. Then add the chanterelles, mix and fry for 10-15 minutes. After the time has elapsed, the chanterelles will release a large amount of juice. Add salt and pepper to the mushrooms, mix and continue to fry over medium heat until all the liquid has evaporated.

We wash the greens in running water, put them on a kitchen towel and leave for 10-15 minutes to dry from the water. Then finely chop the greens with a knife. Peel the garlic, rinse and cut into small cubes.

As soon as all the liquid has evaporated from the mushrooms, we fry them until golden brown for 3-5 minutes. Do not forget to stir often so that they do not burn.
