Apricot jelly with oranges for the winter

The dessert turns out to be very tasty, with sourness due to the presence of oranges in the composition. The delicacy has a rich bright orange color and is prepared quickly enough with the necessary equipment.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
To make the jelly tasty and not spoil, carefully consider the choice of fruits. They should not be rotten or too soft (overripe). Wash suitable apricots. Wipe them with a paper towel to absorb excess moisture.
step 2 out of 6
Cut the apricots and take out the seeds. Then we divide each half with a knife into two parts.
step 3 out of 6
Now you need to process the orange. First, wash it off with running water. Scald with boiling water and wipe with a towel. We cut it into large pieces. If there are seeds in the oranges, they must be removed as well.
step 4 out of 6
Now the chopped fruits need to be chopped. We do this with a meat grinder or food processor. We transfer the mass to the saucepan. Now it needs to be brought to a boil over low heat.
step 5 out of 6
Gradually we begin to introduce sugar. We conventionally divide it into piles of 200 grams each. After the first boil of the fruit mixture, add the first portion of sugar. Bring to a boil. At the same time, mix the dessert well and cook for 5 minutes. We repeat the procedure 3 times. When all the sugar has been added and the mass has boiled, do not turn off the stove, but continue to cook the jelly for five minutes.
step 6 out of 6
For seaming jelly, you need to choose jars and lids in advance. After cleaning the containers with baking soda, they must be thoroughly washed and sent for sterilization. Put the finished jelly in clean sterile jars. At first it will be watery, and then, when it cools down, it will thicken. We roll up the containers with dessert and wrap it with a blanket. The cans will then need to be stored in a cool, dry place.
Bon Appetit!
