Seedless Black Currant Jelly

Currants are the perfect berry for making jelly. It contains so much natural pectin that you don't need to add gelatin at all. This jelly turns out to be very tasty, and most importantly, absolutely natural! What you need in a cold winter!

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
We wash the currants well. We take a large saucepan and put the berries in it. We put it on the stove and keep it for 5 minutes. over low heat, slightly crush the berries in parallel with a spoon and mix. They will begin to secrete juice and you do not need to add water.
step 2 out of 5
Now we take a colander and rub the currants through it. So we get rid of the fruit of the berries and get only juice and pulp.
step 3 out of 5
Add sugar to the finished mass, mix thoroughly and leave for an hour. During this time, the sugar should dissolve. (If you have time, it is better to leave the mass to infuse overnight, so the jelly will turn out to be of better quality).
step 4 out of 5
Now we put the pot on the stove and cook for a couple of minutes. At this point, you can add some more sugar and stir well.
step 5 out of 5
Pour hot jam into sterilized jars. We roll up.

Bon appetite!
