Red currant jelly in a juicer for the winter

With the help of a juicer, juice is squeezed out of currants, which is then poured into a saucepan. Sugar, water are added to it and everything heats up well. Another liquid jelly is poured into cans, closed with lids and sent to the refrigerator.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
First, we sort out the currants and remove the spoiled berries. Next, we thoroughly rinse it under running water, put it in a colander and leave it until all excess liquid has drained off. We remove the branches.
step 2 out of 5
Take a deep saucepan and pour water into it. Install a juicer on top, in which we put red currant berries. We turn on the maximum fire.
step 3 out of 5
We put a branch pipe in the juicer, the end of which is placed in a suitable container. We pour granulated sugar into it and wait until the juice begins to drip there.
step 4 out of 5
When the berries have given up all the juice, tilt the juicer and pour the leftovers into a container with sugar. We put everything on fire and, without bringing to a boil, cook until the granulated sugar is completely dissolved.
step 5 out of 5
We thoroughly rinse cans of soda under hot water and sterilize them in any convenient way. Pour liquid jelly over them, close tightly with sterile lids and leave to cool at room temperature. Next, we send the red currant for storage in a cool place, where it will freeze. We take it out in winter and use it as a filling for baking or serve it with hot tea and fresh white bread. Bon Appetit!
