Frozen blackcurrant jelly

Jelly is made from water, sugar and gelatin, as well as from fresh berries, fruits, berry juices, syrups, milk and other products. Vanilla sugar, wines, liqueurs are added for flavoring. Jelly is intended for pouring flour confectionery products or for consumption as an independent dessert.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Prepare the required jelly products.
step 2 out of 5
Put the frozen black currants in a saucepan, cover with granulated sugar. Cook over low heat until the berries soften and the granulated sugar is completely dissolved, about 10 minutes.
step 3 out of 5
Grind the berry mass through a sieve or colander covered with gauze in several layers. Pour red dessert wine into the resulting mass. Soak gelatin in 100 milliliters of cold water and let it swell. Put the swollen gelatin in the berry-wine mixture, dissolve the gelatin over low heat, but do not boil.
step 4 out of 5
Gently pour the jelly mass into the prepared molds. Leave a little for decoration. Place the molds in the refrigerator until they solidify. It is best to use silicone molds. It is good to extract ready-made jelly from them.
step 5 out of 5
Prepare the plates to serve the jelly on. Pour in some cream. Carefully remove the jelly from the molds and put on the cream, melt the remaining jelly mass in a water bath or in the microwave, garnish with a few drops of cream. Finished jelly can be garnished with fresh berries.
